Brassuco launches products at 28th ABAD fair and consolidates as a foodstuff concern


Brassuco Foods (based in the city of Itu, São Paulo State, Brazil) participates for the fourth time in the Annual Convention of ABAD, held in the city of Curitiba, Santa Catarina State, Brazil) from 11 to 14 August. The company has prepared several launchings for the fair such as the semi-sweetened powdered soft drink Ship yielding 2 litres, a new flavour called Fruit Salad for the well-established Brassuk soft drink range, a line of Brassuco Cake Mixes in 4 flavours (chocolate, vanilla, orange and coconut), and Pulse cereal bars in 4 flavours (banana, oats with honey, strawberry and chocolate, chocolate with chestnuts, and apple with cinnamon).



‘These launchings mark the consolidation of Brassuco as a foodstuff enterprise. We truly believe in ABAD, because this is the fair where we can sign on new distributors and further improve our nationwide coverage. It’s a fair for making deals’, stated Mr. Christian Favarão, Brassuco’s marketing manager.

‘In 2008 we expect growth of about 30% on our 2007 figures. We believe that events like ABAD will contribute greatly to our reaching this target’, stressed Brassuco’s director Mr. Alexandre Muller.

Brassuco is a foodstuff concern with almost 25 years’ experience in the sector, especially with powdered juices. It is active in the retail trade and food service (in this category in a position of leadership as a result of offering the solution of commodatum coolers + product). The enterprise produces powdered soft drinks, powdered chocolate, jelly, flan, mousse, broths, meat tenderiser, creams, delicacies and sweet corn pap, among other products. The company was established in 1985 and is located in the city of Itu, São Paulo State, Brazil, producing 1,500 tons a month.
